Transmission Development Analyst

Our company, Anbaric Transmission LLC, seeks a financial and policy analyst to join our team. The successful candidate must have:

• excellent research and financial skills;
• outstanding written and oral communication skills;
• experience in the electric power industry, ideally in the Northeastern US;
• the ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment; and
• familiarity with statistical, financial, and industry software and data sets.

A sense of humor would be a big plus.

Our Company
Anbaric is a small, highly successful independent transmission company based outside of Boston with projects in different stages of development in the Northeast, the Mid-Atlantic, the Midwest, and Hawaii. We hope to bring many of these projects to completion over the next several years and bring additional projects into our pipeline. We focus on projects which use state-of-the-art technology to increase grid reliability, lower costs, promote economic development, and bring renewable energy to population centers.

Job Description
The transmission development analyst would report to the CEO and would work closely with other senior staff. Duties include: researching all aspects of project development and financial performance; evaluating economic and political and policy risks with projects, tracking regulatory and policy developments; drafting and editing prose, power point, graphical, statistical, and financial reports. Of course, in a small, fast-paced environment, duties will change as the work does. A master’s degree is required.

Salary and Benefits
The salary range is $85,000-$95,000. Benefits include a company-paid health insurance and a generous benefit package.
