Overview

Anbaric Transmission addresses one of the United States’ most pressing concerns: affordable electricity. The principals, partners and investors behind Anbaric are developers of some of the most successful independent transmission projects in the country. We use smart solutions such as HVDC systems to solve grid problems. Flexibility in how to approach the financing of a project allows us to develop projects that expand the electric grid in novel ways.

North America’s electric system faces unprecedented challenges. Our dependence on electricity – and the electric grid that delivers power to us – has reached a level Thomas Edison could never have envisioned. Once, the loss of electric power meant an inconvenient disruption to daily routine. Today, even short periods of power loss can cause major adverse economic disruptions and create potentially life threatening events. The reliability of our electric grid is more important now than at any time in our history.

Inextricably linked to an expanded and better functioning grid are national goals of energy independence, diversification of our fuel supply, increasing our use of renewable energy resources (particularly wind), and meeting the challenges posed by global climate change.

Anbaric provides new cost competitive approaches to the needs of our electric grid that go beyond those offered by traditional utilities.
