Projects

Anbaric Transmission has been a prime mover behind a number of iconic independent electric transmission projects, including:

West Point Transmission Project, which will utilize HVDC technology to deliver up to 2000MWs to New Yorkers; providing a critically needed supply of electric power while protecting a beautiful and important stretch of the Hudson River.

Green Line, which would deliver at least 800MWs to Boston from Maine, is in the development phase in New England

Hudson Transmission Project, which will deliver 660 MWs to New York City from New Jersey, began construction in 2009

Neptune Regional Transmission System, which delivers 660MWs to Long Island from New Jersey, was completed in July 2007 on budget and ahead of schedule

Anbaric is also evaluating several other new project opportunities within the United States, including:

  • The Champlain Wind Link, expanding transmission capacity between upstate New York and the New England grid;
  • Hawaii Infrastructure Project, connecting the islands of Lanai and Molokai with Oahu;
  • The Poseidon Project, another potential DC tie between PJM and New York
